The Sweat Edit

As men on the sweatier side of the spectrum, luxury deodorants from designer brands never worked for us and we'd sweat through them in hours. Our only option were drug story anti-perspirants, but those never smelled good. So we created No.1 and No.2

While many of our products, like the Regime No. 1 range, feature naturally derived ingredients, natural doesn’t always mean better for you. The term can create a sense of trust in the skincare industry, yet some “natural” ingredients (like certain essential oils) can irritate if applied directly to the skin. Remember, even arsenic is technically “natural.” Don’t fall for the hype; choose products that are scientifically tested. Our anti-perspirants contain aluminum for a reason: it works and it's safe.

A thorough facial cleanse is the best way to combat sweat, but let’s be honest: sometimes you don’t have time to shower right after the gym. I keep a hypochlorous acid spray (essentially electrolyzed salt water) in my workout bag to refresh my face and reduce redness if I can’t shower right away.
Another great product is glycolic acid: it’s affordable, exfoliates, and effectively eliminates odor-causing bacteria. Many dermatologists recommend applying it to your armpits at night if you struggle with body odor. Finally, if you experience excessive sweating on your face or body, there are anti-perspirant lotions available, like this one from Kiehl's. If you find yourself dripping from your forehead or back during summer, apply some at night and thank us in the morning! |
