Ashwagandha
Ashwagandha derives its name from Sanskrit words ‘Ashwa - horse’ and ‘Gandha-odour’ and is an evergreen shrub that grows in the Middle East, India, and some parts of the African continent. It has been used in India since ancient times as a wonder medicine for several ailments.
Ashwagandha has effective antimicrobial, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that help to protect and heal your skin from different forms of infections, damages, and reactions. It contains alkaloids that help in easing out stress and anxiety by lowering cortisol levels. This in turn benefits your aging skin directly through reparation and cell renewal mechanisms in your skin by boosting collagen production.

Rhodiola Rosae
Rhodiola root is a holistic workhorse. Having endured hard cold winter conditions, it functions on the skin to boost immunity so it’s less susceptible to environmental stressors like pollution and sun damage. With a high concentration of antioxidant polyphenols and proanthocyanadins it also provides added oxidative protection, combatting premature aging. It also has a stimulating effect on the skin increasing circulation and cell turnover, rapidly renewing collagen and reducing the appearance of fine lines.
